Project Description

“Dark and Sweet 1990s” explores different aspects of life in the post-Soviet Ukraine, Georgia and Belarus in the first decade after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The interviewees talk about the collapse of the Soviet monetary system, explosion of crime as well as about new hopes and craving for changes.
The style of the interactive cartoonized story was inspired by a famous neo-noir graphic novel “Sin City”.
