Peace in Action
Get ready for a next-level experience: This autumn, EUSTORY awaits you in Italy!
Following the motto “Peace in Action”, the EUSTORY Experience 2025 for prizewinners of national history competitions is an international youth encounter unlike any conference or summit: From 19 to 25 October 2025, immersive, on-the-ground learning and transformative activities rooted in real-world engagement are guaranteed.
The heart of this year’s EUSTORY Experience: Rondine Cittadella della Pace, the “Village of Peace” in the Tuscan countryside. There, young people from conflict-affected regions around the world live and learn together – building peace across political, cultural, and personal divides. Can living next door to someone with opposite views be a chance rather than a challenge?
In this unique setting, you’ll engage with their stories, dive into questions of intercultural coexistence, and explore how conflicting perspectives can be transformed into shared futures.
The starting point: Your own experiences with conflicts, either interpersonal, socio-political or inner ones. In groups, pairs and individually, you’ll reflect on frictions that are present in your own surrounding, develop ways to turn tensions into fruitful actions, and create a joint Instagram format to capture the multi-perspective experiences, personal stories and vivid discussions made on-site.
Expect eye-opening moments, unexpected connections, and find new friends across borders!

Our Host: Rondine Cittadella della Pace
Rondine Cittadella della Pace is a non-governmental organisation located in Tuscany, dedicated to reducing armed conflicts worldwide by teaching a method on dealing with tensions in a positive way. At Rondine, young people from conflict-affected areas worldwide live and learn in a shared community to foster dialogue, mutual understanding, and the transformation from conflict to peace. For international groups like EUSTORY, Rondine offers multi-day activities to get insights into their peacebuilding-projects, immerse into everyday life at the “Village of Peace”, and meet young people carrying personal stories of war and escape who know the challenges of peacebuilding.
