Daniela, Gabriela, Laurențiu, and Liliana critically examined historical inaccuracies and manipulative storytelling the sports drama “Three Seconds” (2017) about the Soviet basketball team’s victory over the United States in 1972. While the “Three Seconds” film presented the historical basketball game between the USSR and the U.S. teams at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 from the Soviet perspective, the group created a video report that reimagined how the same historical event might appear from the opposing team’s viewpoint.
